Library Cards and Borrowing

Library Cards

How can I get a library card?
Bring a photo ID and proof of your current address to the library to apply for a library card, or to update your contact information. Children under the age of 16 require the signature of a parent or guardian. You may print out a library card application (English or Spanish), fill it out and bring it to the library; however, please wait to sign the application until you are at the library with a staff member.

If I don't live in Cross Plains, can I still borrow items?
Yes, if you are a resident of Wisconsin, you can apply for a library card at the Rosemary Garfoot Public Library. Your card will work at any library in the South Central Library System (public libraries located in Dane, Green, Portage, Wood, Columbia, Sauk, and Adams Counties).

Is there a fee for my library card?
