Carpe Librum Book Club -- The House Is On Fire

Join the Carpe Librum Book Club for the first meeting of 2025. The club will be hosting a discussion of The House is On Fire by Rachel Beanland. This historical fiction title set in early 1800's Virginia follows the lives of four characters after the local theater burns down and their lives become irrevocably intertwined. Copies of the book are available the circulation desk now.

This meeting will also feature a short recap of last month's title, The Husbands, and our favorite reads from 2024. New members are still welcome to attend and kick off their reading year!
